it's a literal impossibility in the physical universe that we occupy to show up for the bats less than 45 minutes too early, and so everybody inevitably doesn't really care anymore by the time they fly. my suggestion is that, if you're going to go see the bats, turn it into a small picnic or something so everybody isn't just standing around waiting and getting bored.Pearalegal wrote:So I posted a post that consisted of, "Bats!!!" a few days ago without any responses. Bats!!! Totally didn't know about them, or the festival. How neat!
Taylor, sorry about the distraction at work.

nah, the bats are cool, they're just guaranteed to take way longer than you expect to come out, so you want to have something to do while you wait. your plan sounds good. though i'm not sure if alcohol is allowed (it may well be, i have no idea), but an intelligent young law student should be able to figure a way around that.

Taylor, sorry about the distraction at work. Are they that boring? I thought it was so kitschy in a good way. I was thinking get a bottle of wine and some fried chicken and wait for them.

He can by your spouse or guest pass and sit with you! As far as the group goes, someone has to set one up, then others can join it with the group name and password. I just wanted to see if someone has already done this.adrib wrote:i dunno how the group thing works, but i'd love to sit with y'all! how do the purchases work? i didn't see a place to buy my husband tickets, does that mean we can't sit together?JordynAsh wrote:Are some of you sitting in a group together for football tickets, and if so, can I plz join?

Let me/us know if you do set one up. I remember during the visit I was told law school students usually sit together, but that's as much information as I got. I checked the facebook group to see if anyone has posted any thoughts on it but I think they are just as clueless as we are. Perhaps wait a couple days to see if any information on it surfaces.

Anybody know if we can buy guest tickets for away games? Or for that matter, can the away game tickets that we buy be used by a non-student?

Yeah, thats what the e-mail said... but there wasn't that option when I DID purchase, I looked all over. Agh.
Edit: OK, its fixed now! Apparently you have to send an e-mail invitation to everyone who you want to be in the group, and then accept the invitation. THEN it will appear on a drop-down box when you go to order your tickets. The woman I talked to didn't seem too sure, but whatever, as long as we can get it to work, lol.
