Where are you guys thinking about living? Do you know how hard it is to get into Loyola Village?

Will try to live in Inner Richmond as well. Anyone thinking of using the USF housing program to look for roommates? Unfortunately I'll be on vacation in mid-June, which is when they're hosting the workshops.

i actually do not want to live with law students. one reason: finals time. if i am freaking out, i don't want to live with another possibly hysterical person. plus i want to meet a wider group of friends as well.

Hi all!
Deposited back in April, but I just personally committed to USF. I'm still stuck in Boston for the moment(moved here 7 years ago) but I can't wait to move back to my home state and meet my 2013 classmates this summer!
Has anyone been able to find a facebook group for us yet?

Re: University of San Francisco class of 2013
Hey folks -- if anyone is interested in a legitimately amazing studio apartment in San Francisco, PM me. I would stay here but I'm moving for school. I feel like I got very lucky with this place.
It's less than 2 miles from the USF law campus. Safe, quiet neighborhood with STREET PARKING (!) and walking distance from the subway. It's seriously, in my opinion, the perfect location for a USF student. It's one block from the 33 bus, which will take you to USF.
It's in between the Castro and Twin Peaks. About a 10 minute walk from Haight/Ashbury. I love this neighborhood, and if I move back to SF next year (which is hopefully my plan), I plan on coming back to this exact neighborhood (and hopefully this same street).

I'm going to be part of the evening division also.v. dentata wrote:I'll be attending the evening division. Anyone else?
is anyone else a part of ASP and starting this July? Scary knowing that I'll be needing to pack up my stuff and making the move to SF in less than 3 weeks! I checked out some neighborhoods and apts a few weeks ago. I think I'll be situating myself in a complex next to Japantown.
Is there one yet??nateo01 wrote: Has anyone been able to find a facebook group for us yet?

I'm personally really excited, I have lived in the bay area my whole life, and I got into USF off the waiting list so it was a struggle. I'm looking forward to starting, and for those of you that have never lived in the city before, it is amazing you will love it!

So anyone gotten their books yet? I'm wondering if I should get hornbooks and gilberts law summaries now or wait until after classes start. What do you guys think?

Re: University of San Francisco class of 2013
i got all my books on amazon and saved a bunch... i got real lucky and got some pretty good used ones with barely any highlighting and underlining. as for secondary sources, i'm going to hold off on em til school starts. i believe they have most of em (hornbooks, E&E, etc.) on reserve at the library so i'll try em out and see if they fit into my studying before i invest any money into em.
