Pre-orientation schedule: "Can't wait for things to start! So excited to begin law school! Man, wish we were there already!"
Post-orientation schedule: "Man, this sucks. 8 am? Law school orientation is teh sux0r."

And what do you all think the dress code is/should be? On some days we are meeting alumni. Does that mean business casual for those days in particular or in general? What will u all be wearing?
daisy dukes, bikinis on top.

I just signed up for the alumni dinner too. I'm thinking there should be plenty of time between the end of the orientation schedule and the dinner to go home and change clothes if you feel like it. It looks like the latest we'd get out is Wednesday and that's at 4:20. If it's still 100+ in St. Louis during orientation you definitely won't be the only one in jeans.

So is it the consensus that shorts on 100+ degree days wouldn't be appropriate?folgers wrote:If it's still 100+ in St. Louis during orientation you definitely won't be the only one in jeans.

That's just crazy talk. If it's going to be 100+, I'm pretty sure I'm wearing shorts. They'll be nice shorts, but shorts they will be. I'll change for the alumni dinner, no prob there. But for orientation? They're already calling us in at 8. They'll be lucky if I don't wear athletic shorts I'll just plead straight-out-of-undergrad ignorance.Rock Chalk wrote:So is it the consensus that shorts on 100+ degree days wouldn't be appropriate?folgers wrote:If it's still 100+ in St. Louis during orientation you definitely won't be the only one in jeans.

For Mac people, Examsoft is making a native Mac version of their software for next fall's exams. So you don't have get Windows.

By "next fall" do you mean fall 2010 or fall 2011?myq wrote:For Mac people, Examsoft is making a native Mac version of their software for next fall's exams. So you don't have get Windows.

Sorry, I mean fall 2010. Someone posted about this in some crazy Mac vs. PC thread and I looked around and couldn't find any information. So I sent Examsoft an e-mail asking them to confirm before I bought Windows and bothered to set up Bootcamp, and they responded and said that yes, there will be a native Mac version for Fall 2010 exams.Rock Chalk wrote:By "next fall" do you mean fall 2010 or fall 2011?myq wrote:For Mac people, Examsoft is making a native Mac version of their software for next fall's exams. On a different note, one thing I will not miss once we start law school -- working at 5:00 AM on Saturday!

Re: WUSTL Class of 2013
Do you know exactly when it will be available? Because if it comes out beginning of December that could be too late to install it with our exams?
On a side note, I just put Windows for Mac yesterday from the bookstore ($132) but hopefully they will let me return the unopened package.

I know it sucks! I've had my copy for like 2 months now, but it's still unopened. Do you think they will let me return it?NU_Jet55 wrote:Awesome.
