if you buy dood's books you may as well wait til the section is set in stone, since he's local... but if you're buying online you should do it nowdood wrote:YEAH, and buy MY books! I'm also hoping I'm not in cranberrie's section. She'll destroy the curve.

The full tuition ED scholarship is getting more and more tempting to me by the day. Anyone else do this? Would it be worth passing up a 7-14 at sticker to take full tuition at GW?

Yup - banweb. Not all sections are registered yet, hence my hesitation to buy books thinking that I'll buy them all and get moved around.sibley wrote:banweb, registration? cran?Encyclopedia Brown wrote:Where did you find this information? But I bought them anyway.....I like to live on the edge.
And I'm just hoping to keep up.

Time to resurrect the alphabet theory for class registration? My name's toward the end of the alphabet...

That BYU graduate... he told me when he was in law school he never studied with anyone. Read all the cases, did it all himself. Because he didn't feel like he had the right to be there or something.cranberrie wrote:Yup - banweb. New theory. GPA. They gotta make sure the high rollers are equally dispersed.cranberrie wrote:Smack dab in the middle - no help.sibley wrote:

I'm 3.4-ish. 3.5 if you let me get away with having death-of-mono, which no one ever does.

I appear to be in section 12. I want to trust it, I do. But I'm really afraid to commit to buying books 'til orientation.

Re: GW Class of 2013
Only two of the books are the same as this year - the ones for Turley and Maggs - one of them was cheaper and one of them wasn't.dood wrote:
But I am cheaper than online!
I totally would've bought them anyways but I pressed the submit button to buy the books just before checking the forum.
But prices online are going up by the second - plus I'm spending $400 more buying them now than I would have if I had bought them a month ago......

Re: GW Class of 2013
They have the sections pre-determined and are entering them into the computer now. Sections 11, 12 and 15 are now registered. You can see it through banweb, reigstration, look up class to add, law.sibley wrote:New theory. GPA. Still nothing for me. Whyyyyyyyy? I want to look at stuff too...ryguy wrote:My class schedule is posted...
edit: With my last name at the end of the alphabet, and my low, low GPA, I'm striking out in both ridiculously hypothetical registration situations.

Yeah, that's what I've been checking--Student Detail Schedule under the Registration Menu on GWeb. I think I've actually clicked on every menu item on GWeb at this point, but I assume that's where it would be if I were registered already.ryguy wrote:Did you check GWEB?

Re: GW Class of 2013
Looks like I'm in section 11. Looks like an okay schedule.
Start at 12 on MT, and 9:55 on WRF.
10's a bit early but I said so long as it wasn't before 9 I wouldn't complain!
Monday runs a little late though - class until 5:50!

I apparently pulled pretty good profs too. There was only one my brother hadn't heard good things about and that's because he just hadn't heard things.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
