I can read fine. I can't spell for shit, but that is solved by spellcheck. The incoherent rambling can be fixed with paying attention to what I am writing. Unfortunately for you all I pay no attention.

Just messing with you. No doubt it's harder to write something worth publishing (or grading, for that matter) when being rushed. The few that can churn out prose despite being under the gun ... well, those are the few that make partner at dla piper.

I admit to knowing nothing about how the UChi WL process functions. What kinds of peeps do they take off the waitlist, and have they (presumably Dean Perry, et. al.) suggested they are actually going to go to the waitlist this cycle?

they sent an email saying "don't hold your breath" and last year they were admitting off the WL by now. i would say, for me and my GPA, hope is lost, but uncertainty doesn't stress me out so i can wait forever

also hardly the forum to be asking this question (literally, figuratively), but why so gung-ho for U of C? I'm not from Chicago so I really don't know the pecking order of things but my impression is/was that within the city the two schools are on an even plane.
