I think it's amusing how people on the facebook page are referencing TLS about organizing a bar crawl (note: I'm alllll for it). I mean remove the context, would you trust a bunch of internet screen names trying to get people to meet them at a bar?

Maybe I've just had too much free time today, I don't know.

Eh, I mean if these internet screen names will eventually become your classmates/bbq buddies then I mean...by all means meeting up at a bar is okay by me. Just as long as people aren't all like ZOMG I'm NYGRRRRRL....I mean, I like to keep my life on the internets and my real life separate..

i called to request a handbook last week as I've not received it yet.

was emailed a pdf file and was told that i should expect a hard copy in the mail as well.

nothing so far. i live in brooklyn

It's for you guys, so you can get to know each other. I've just been helping out at ASDs because I enjoy doing it so much, and it's been very cool to meet the next class!

Really sad to see that the bbq is during the day on a Thursday Guess that is even more of a reason to set up a bar crawl, because I will never be able to get out of work.

Oh, and setting up a bar crawl with complete internet strangers, yes, would be weird. But we're all going to meet eventually...

For those who received their acceptance phone calls last week, have you received the snail mail copy of the acceptance letter (and Admitted Student Guide)? I have been holding off on sending in my seat deposit, waiting for the "official" acceptance letter, but it is due on Monday.

On a related note, is there an option to pay seat deposits electronically, or do they have to be mailed?

Pixie, I talked to Admissions today - you can pay the deposit with a credit card if you call in.
As for the rest... no idea.
