The weather's the only part about this experience I'm dreading. If anyone needs me in Ithaca, you'll find me curled up next to my radiator like a hobo at a campfire.

ya i had googled and found that form but I was confused because it looked like it was requesting a recommendation. Do they just sign it and send it in or do they write something?

They sign it, write whatever they want on the second page, and return it. As noted on the sheet: "Absent any notation to the contrary, we understand your signature on this form to certify that the student is in good standing, that his or her dsiciplinary record is clear, and that no charges are pending."

Did any of you get your admission decision in the past 2-3 weeks? I'm waiting on my initial decision, and based on the self-selected data at LSN, they haven't given out anything but WL and Rejections in the past 2-4 weeks. I don't really trust LSN's data (since the sample size for the past few weeks is so small)


Can anyone confirm that they've gotten their initial "Yes" in the past 2-3 weeks?

I already know how this is going to go. I'm going to put it off until I get back from Israel, then forget about it once I get back and then start begging hard core once the deadline has passed to make an exception. They'll then make a stern face but allow it because they want my money.

Same. I'm working offshore. I moved to Mississippi and don't have a physician down here yet. So I guess I'm going to have to use my nighttime computer time to find out what's covered on my insurance, schedule an appointment, and knock it all out as soon as I get back. Plus I have to call back home to get my immunization records. Why can't Cornell just trust us? I'm clean, I swear!
