ya i had googled and found that form but I was confused because it looked like it was requesting a recommendation. Do they just sign it and send it in or do they write something?

They sign it, write whatever they want on the second page, and return it. As noted on the sheet: "Absent any notation to the contrary, we understand your signature on this form to certify that the student is in good standing, that his or her dsiciplinary record is clear, and that no charges are pending."jms116 wrote:ya i had googled and found that form but I was confused because it looked like it was requesting a recommendation. Re: Serving Time in Ithaca (Cornell 2013)
Did any of you get your admission decision in the past 2-3 weeks? I'm waiting on my initial decision, and based on the self-selected data at LSN, they haven't given out anything but WL and Rejections in the past 2-4 weeks. I don't really trust LSN's data (since the sample size for the past few weeks is so small)
Can anyone confirm that they've gotten their initial "Yes" in the past 2-3 weeks?

... just bothered to make an account on Cornell's New Students page on this note, and look at the Health History form. I really don't want to do all this crap.

Matriculation forms, yo. Health History is due June 14th (although iirc, the packet we got in the mail said June 12th. Go figure.)

I already know how this is going to go. I'm going to put it off until I get back from Israel, then forget about it once I get back and then start begging hard core once the deadline has passed to make an exception. They'll then make a stern face but allow it because they want my money.vexion wrote:http://newstudents.cornell.edu/grad/holybartender wrote:Wait there's more shit to do beyond the Dean's Cert?

Same. I'm working offshore. I moved to Mississippi and don't have a physician down here yet. So I guess I'm going to have to use my nighttime computer time to find out what's covered on my insurance, schedule an appointment, and knock it all out as soon as I get back. Plus I have to call back home to get my immunization records.holybartender wrote:I already know how this is going to go. I'm still working on all those, er, "requirements"... (and, in about 14 hours, I'll be a rising 2L...)vexion wrote:Same. I'm working offshore. Big grats to danidancer, jks289 and pudge! I'm guessing today is when Cornell officially wrapped up their yield numbers after the second deposit deadline. Good to have you guys!

How come Cornell is the only school with a self-effacing title for its 2013 thread? Seems kinda depressing.holybartender wrote:Congrats to everyone who got/gets off reserve. Welcome to jail.

It was an in-joke in the thread, starts on page 27. The thread title was Cornell 2013. sjsteece changed it.doomed123 wrote:How come Cornell is the only school with a self-effacing title for its 2013 thread? Seems kinda depressing.
