It has everyone's section placements. You can PM me if you wantjaskat wrote:I think it's sent to your permanent address.
Does the packet include everyone's placement in every section or just yours? If so would someone with a list mind me PMing them to find out the section I'm in with all the impatience that I have?

Thank you, but I got another kind TLS'er to send me the info already. I'm in section 4, and hoping I can get used to waking up so early in the morning, lol.mshflyer wrote:It has everyone's section placements. You can PM me if you wantjaskat wrote:I think it's sent to your permanent address.

Well at least you only have to wake up for 8 o'clock classes twice a week. Look at section 1 and you will be happy.jaskat wrote:Thank you, but I got another kind TLS'er to send me the info already. nyskidude- Sections 1 and 2 have everything together except the LAWR class. I hope you are a morning person because all our classes start at 8am Mon-Fri. The good news is that we will be done at 1pm every day!
* On a side note, I am really excited about the section sizes. I know at some schools they can reach nearly 100. It looks like there are roughly 200 of us in total.

I'd actually rather have it that way. It will get me in the habit of going to bed at a reasonable hour, and it wll give me motivation to get up bright and early, and it will leave us the entire afternoon to ourselves! Psyched to at least know one person that will be in most of my classes lol.OkieGirl wrote:nyskidude- Sections 1 and 2 have everything together except the LAWR class. Ooops! You have LAWR on Tues/Wed from 1:10-2:10. A little bit later, but not too bad!
I am excited about the early classes too! It will be nice to have the afternoon to study. If you search Fall 2010 courses on the Iowa web page you can see the entire schedule and professors.

This is pretty awesome, actually. I'm done pretty early, comparatively, most days. I'm not sure how I'm going to like how the have their classes arranged, though... I don't know about the rest of you, but my undergrad had classes MWF and TTH, not MTW and THF. Will definitely make getting the assignments done ahead of time more important.

My undergrad schedule was class three days a week, never starting before 1pm. This is going to be an adjustment.nyskidude wrote:This is pretty awesome, actually. I got section 8. I'm thrilled about ending the week at 10am on Friday, but I am a little worried about Matsumoto. He is rated HORRIBLY everywhere I have seen. I hope that knowing ahead of time might enable me to brace for a potentially bad class. Overall I'm happy.

Re: IOWA 2013
Thanks for the advice, Okie. I noticed that the 10 "sections" for each class on ISIS correspond to the section you are given in the letter, so I was able to visualize my entire schedule. As of right now, I don't like that 2 hour gap between Properties and Contracts, but I'm sure that I will love it when we get our first reading assignment and I can knock it out right after class is done. If you're wondering who I am, I will be the guy in the student lounge every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday with the Properties book lol.OkieGirl wrote:Ooops! You have LAWR on Tues/Wed from 1:10-2:10. (Really, I was going for a potentially all inclusive 'Just saying hi and meeting my new classmates' type of thing.

I don't do anything to keep awake as far as eating or drinking anything. I just can't take the smell or taste of coffee. Same goes for watermelon. I also worry about getting addicted to it, where if you don't get your cup in the morning then you turn into an evil zombie monster until you get some. Where is everyone meeting, anyway? I might join in.jaskat wrote:What do you do to keep awake then?
