I may give it a shot. It doesn't seem like NU has a ton of money to give out for next year, though.lawschoollll wrote:I imagine this is as close to $0 as they go... has anyone successfully negotiated?scribelaw wrote:I got an offer...Same thing: 0-15-15.

Will you go to NYU if NU doesn't up it?scribelaw wrote:I may give it a shot. We are writing to inform you that we have allocated and exhausted all available scholarship and grant funding for this year. Scholarships and financial aid is a tremendously difficult matter. Every year, we have many more deserving students than we have funds available and this year is no exception. I am sorry to say that we will be unable to provide you with any scholarship/grant funding.

I'm gonna miss the elitism from UG of being on a bigger scholarship than everyone around me.

Not for sure, but probably.lawschoollll wrote:Will you go to NYU if NU doesn't up it?scribelaw wrote:I may give it a shot. With COL, the difference would probably be about $40,000 assuming I get the same level summer associate job my 2L year from either school. I think NYU is probably worth the difference.

Yeah but paying sticker is like street cred for how tough you are, like the people who live in bad neighborhoods before they gentrify, or combat veterans.LieutKaffee wrote:I'm gonna miss the elitism from UG of being on a bigger scholarship than everyone around me.
