2 Questions after a long TLS Hiatus:
1. When do we get section assignments? Not until orientation?
2. Any get-togethers tonight? I missed the one last night. Bars sound good to me right about now.

The Thursday or Friday before Orientation usually so figure late this week.

Section assignments will be posted online and in the glass cases adjacent to the Student Records Office in Slaughter Hall at approximately 5 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 13.

It's your individual photo (portrait shot of your face) that is posted on LawWeb as part of your class's online photo directory.

You can elect not to display it though.

I could have sworn that the Brandon Garrett thing wasn't up last time I checked. I know that's the one I'm going to; that event is right up my alley. I really hope that he teaches in whatever section I'm in, since his academic career seems to focus on what I'm interested in as well.

Looks like the only place in town with a public (coin-op) cage is Planet Fun at 3350 Berkmar Drive, which looks like it's behind the bowling alley that's on Seminole Trail just before Walmart. If we got enough people together to split the cost, though, there's a place called Total Performance Sports & Fitness where we could rent a cage on a weekend for $60/hour.

also, if anyone wants to see monticello i'm thinking of heading on over sometime soon. i'm not sure if we have to take a tour to see the grounds, but if we do, our uva id gets us a buy 1 get 1 free ticket deal...unfortunately the first ticket is 17 bucks tho.

Dude it's called a flashlight. We also have marshmallows. We pulled up some of the hardwood floors to roast them, hoping that's not a problem. We'll probably just throw down carpet over them. However, right now I'm in the Barnes and Noble in Barracks drinking lemonade and cooling off.
