You should call the Office of Financial Aid, not admissions. They have a clue and are quite nice.

We absolutely should. Although law school orientation can't possibly be as painful as those of previous programs (in my grad program they gave us a folder full of handouts and then made us sit in an auditorium as they read each one aloud to us), I suspect it will be thirsty work nonetheless.

Is that just move-in day, or do we have to go to something after we get our apartments, or what? Anyone have a clue? Any 2Ls want to explain what Day 1 is all about?

This guy is a NYU Rising 2L who has a pretty interesting blog I've been following. Scroll down to see his entries about orientation from last year. Apparently students complained and changes have been made for this year, but this will give you a general idea.

Got mine a few weeks ago. Still trying to figure out how to verify my stuff since my doctor moved across the country 10+ years ago.... Any ideas anyone? Should I just initiate a doctor-hunt?

Your undergraduate institution should have all your medical information on file- most schools require that you submit proof of immunization for you to attend. So I would call the student health center there first.

Loan Stuff: There's no deadline, but they encourage you to complete it before the end of July to ensure it gets distributed in a timely manner.
