Have fun at Duke! The Triangle's a pretty fun area, just as long as you hang out in Chapel Hill/Carrboro instead of Durham.

Any New Yorker's here? Is there some sort of roommate matching board UT provides? Looking forward to meeting everyone in a few months!
Fellow NY'er completely unfamiliar with the land of Texas. I'll actually be visiting next weekend though. Are you in school in the city?

Have worked in a firm for the past 2 years in midtown-- graduated '07 from school in DC. Did you attend the admitted reception a little while back?

They did send me an email this morning saying they canceled my application, and it did make me sad.

Is it just me or is this all vaguely reminiscent of a choose-your-own-adventure book, only you can't peek to see which decision leads where?

Since I can't insert Family Guy clips, this will have to suffice:

EDIT: Apparently that wasn't a real book, but these are still funny: http://www.somethingawful.com/d/comedy- ... php?page=1

Good luck, one of the main reasons I didn't pick Texas is because I didn't want to deal with the housing situation here again lol.

Am I not allowed here anymore since I didn't deposit? :(

Haha, obviously you posting here is against TLS-law and an insult.

I think I found a detached garage-style apartment that I love. It has a little screened in porch and is a 13 minute walk to the law school. Its a little expensive, and the outside of the building isn't anything special (albeit colorful), but it has a stone driveway for my car and a screened in porch and is pretty effing adorable inside.

Many of the apartment complexes I saw in Hyde Park were sort of...sketchy. Anyone feel the same?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
