Have fun at Duke! The Triangle's a pretty fun area, just as long as you hang out in Chapel Hill/Carrboro instead of Durham.Jericwithers wrote:Then I'll be at Duke. Good luck all and hope my money goes to good use!

Any New Yorker's here? Is there some sort of roommate matching board UT provides? Looking forward to meeting everyone in a few months!
Have worked in a firm for the past 2 years in midtown-- graduated '07 from school in DC. Did you attend the admitted reception a little while back?

Is it just me or is this all vaguely reminiscent of a choose-your-own-adventure book, only you can't peek to see which decision leads where?Jericwithers wrote:They did send me an email this morning saying they canceled my application, and it did make me sad.soonergirl wrote:guilt?Jericwithers wrote:Why do I still post here?

Since I can't insert Family Guy clips, this will have to suffice:soonergirl wrote:Is it just me or is this all vaguely reminiscent of a choose-your-own-adventure book, only you can't peek to see which decision leads where?Jericwithers wrote:They did send me an email this morning saying they canceled my application, and it did make me sad.soonergirl wrote:guilt?Jericwithers wrote:Why do I still post here?

Good luck, one of the main reasons I didn't pick Texas is because I didn't want to deal with the housing situation here again lol.Pearalegal wrote:Thanks! And now, housing.
Am I not allowed here anymore since I didn't deposit?

Haha, obviously you posting here is against TLS-law and an insult.
I think I found a detached garage-style apartment that I love. It has a little screened in porch and is a 13 minute walk to the law school. Its a little expensive, and the outside of the building isn't anything special (albeit colorful), but it has a stone driveway for my car and a screened in porch and is pretty effing adorable inside.
Many of the apartment complexes I saw in Hyde Park were sort of...sketchy. Anyone feel the same?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
