Also, are we supposed to accept our award amounts (ie: loans) on myaccess? The instructions on myaccess say to but I don't see how we do it.

see, i still didn't send in my form saying that i agree to go there! i have to do all this on tuesday when i have access to a printer. though i did send in the form that says i accept the scholarship. i'm seriously slacking. i still have to withdraw from my other schools.

Ahh, I feel more confused daily haha. Wait -- I sent in the form accepting my scholarship about a week ago. It looked like the only form we need to send in. In fact, it said something like "I accept my scholarship and will matriculate in the fall". Where/what/how/when/why is this other form?

Okay, so if you go to the Admitted Students Website and click on forms, they have the Tuition Deposit Waiver Form. I think that's the one you send in

I actually sent them just the first deposit because I read (on their site somewhere) that if you get need-based grants, you don't have to pay the second deposit.

If you guys were me, and you hated your job, would you quit even earlier than you were planning (early may instead of late may). I'd lose about a grand, but I think I'd gain not having an ulcer.

RC error! (Don't worry; my LSAT was full of them ) Filling out the tuition deposit waiver will waive both of the tuition deposits, not just the first one. If you don't get grants, you can still fill out that form to get the second deposit waived.

Ah, okay. Good to know. Damn RC errors. I actually only got one wrong on the RC on my LSAT. What got me was three AR sections in a row. By the time I got to Logic Games, my head felt like it was in New Jersey.

Yeah, but I hate it pretty bad at times beyond the iPad crush, too. Long story short, the store basically wrecked my knee. And they don't care. Typical bad retail situation with all the cliched components you may expect. I'm gonna stick it out as long as I can, but it's brutal. I've been saving for almost a year, so I can survive without the grand. Obviously, it would be easier with it.

I haven't got mine yet, either. Apparently they are working on them and sending them out now. I'd start to worry if it's not here within a week or two.

Yeah, my letter with my pin/password JUST came today. And there's not even any info up yet. I think it just takes a while.

I just checked now - it actually lists awards for me now. All it lists are loans, but they only add up to $49K. Um... what is that supposed to mean?

I mean, have they just not entered grants in yet, or do they seriously think my parents and I have a spare $19K lying around the house each year? I'm really hoping it's the former, because MyAccess and the Yellow Form do not have a question where they ask you "Are your parents capable of saving money or do they spend it all on bulls***?", because that should really affect my EFC...

I think/hope I'm just being paranoid.

For those of you that have gotten your actual paper aid letter in the mail, did any of you have amounts that didn't add up to $68K (full-timers)? If so, is the difference supposed to be out-of-pocket?

Yep, mine added up to $45,200 and I received $22,800 a year with a tuiton grant. So, that made up the difference. I think it's fair to say that they will be giving you the difference. Or I could be completely off on that, but that's how mine worked out.

BTW, for the last couple of days, there has been an actual caboose parked on the railroad tracks next to the freeway I take to work. Railroads don't have many actual cabooses anymore, so seeing a caboose at all is unusual. And what does the caboose say on its side? "SOO." Another sign! ("Soo" sounds like "sue," in case anyone didn't notice the double-meaning.)

I've never had beef wellington either, all I know about it I learned from TLS discussions inspired by my tar.

I graduated in 06 and have been working full time since then.

I think the mix of ages we've got is good. Different perspectives, study habits, opinions on trespassers, etc.
