hey everyone when you sent in your final transcript and college questionnaire form did you get any sort of reply from nyu saying they received everything? is there any way to check online? thanks!

I just called admissions and they were able to tell me whether they had received it. Have your LSAC number handy if you don't have it memorized by now.

Same. I don't think there's any other way to check. And I didn't even need my LSAC number. I just gave them my social.

I was looking at http://www.law.nyu.edu/academics/course ... /index.htm to find out about our 1L courses. Does anyone know what the course "The Administrative and Regulatory Sate” is about? Most of the 1L courses are pretty standard across law schools, but I haven’t seen anything like this one at the other schools.

Not sure if this has been posted (or if it's available anywhere online), but the student budget for the 2010/11 academic year is as follows:

Tuition (including registration fees, etc): 48125
Living Expenses: 19877
Loan fees: 104
Books, etc: 1400
Health Insurance: 1360
Total: 70866

Expect loan disbursements in early/mid September.

Also, for those considering taking out a loan to purchase a laptop, know that you can request a student budget adjustment of up to an additional 2500. However, only purchases made after July 15th are eligible.
