finally going to buy a car, planning on going down the neighborhood a couple of blocks away, but the guy sounds like a druggie over the phone (all 3 times) and he's asking for WAY less than the MSRP. Should i be scared?

not that you guys should be particularly interested, but on the bus i iphoned the zip code and crime level, and it was a whopping 9.2/10, with virtually 5 times the national average for almost all forms of crime, so i just stopped at a home depot and met him there. Turns out he sounded so drugged out and/or mentally handicapped cause his english is sub-par, he's from iraq....NU_Jet55 wrote:Yes.dudnaito wrote:finally going to buy a car, planning on going down the neighborhood a couple of blocks away, but the guy sounds like a druggie over the phone (all 3 times) and he's asking for WAY less than the MSRP. i dunno, the carfax is clean, everything else is clean, the title is good...
note of importance, even 2 miles away from the cwe presented some vastly different "architecture" and personalities. I'm guessing our next 3 years will be confined to the park, cwe, and safer parts of downtown? I took public transit for 2 years in Atlanta, and i loved it... let's just say the people here smile a whole lot less and grimace a whole lot more.

Only if you're a wuss, you'd be missing out on some of the more interesting places in St. Louis: Soulard, Tower Grove, etcdudnaito wrote:not that you guys should be particularly interested, but on the bus i iphoned the zip code and crime level, and it was a whopping 9.2/10, with virtually 5 times the national average for almost all forms of crime, so i just stopped at a home depot and met him there. Re: WUSTL Class of 2013
People say that ppl in the reading room are intense but I don't notice that at all. In fact, there are very ppl here, at least when I pass by.
Where do you forum members study?
I try to stay on campus, in the courtyard or library somewhere, to get work done, partly bc i dont like dragging my heavy txtbooks home and I can concentrate better here (im not tempted to clean my apartment or whatever).
I'm interested in hearing your thoughts.
Keep the thread alive!

Studied at home most of the first two weeks, but I've been shifting towards the school the last couple days. Think I'll be there tomorrow.

Re: WUSTL Class of 2013
Omg, law school is cracking me up.
After all the funny Facebook comments about being a "tortfeasor," I laughed like an idiot in Torts today when someone actually used that word.
And then while walking on a gravel path this evening, I started wondering what the current market price of gravel was (re: early Greenfield Contracts cases) and started chuckling to myself. My non-law school friend asked me what was so funny but I didn't dare explain my line of thinking.
Now, on to my LW and LP assignments
which I do not find entertaining at all!
