Do you like Axe Clix?
Trade sounds good. I think we all got both.
PM me your room number and I'll wander up/down and we can swap.

Already on their wireless.
+1
Are you in a standard bedroom? I found an ethernet jack (I think) in the living area, but I can't find one in my room (could be behind the bed, who knows). But you have to buy your own cord. The wi-fi signal seems to be pretty good here so I'll just use that.

Found my cord... It was behind the dresser. All is good. I am in a single. Almost done with computer and router setup.

So, 3.5 hours until I can move in.
How was move-in in general? Was it well organized, etc.? I have A LOT of stuff, do they give you carts and stuff?

Doesn't seem to happen in VA or MD, just here in swamp proper. So stock up on repellant or start eating tons of garlic.

man i wish this were true.
but yeah the mosquitos are a bitch around here. i never seem to get just one bite. i either get none or i get feasted on

Move-in was good. They are really nice and have it well setup. Their are carts available and helpers. You shouldn't have many problems.

I know where she lives, nyah nyah!
Starry, don't feel stalked. I met your roommate earlier and your name was on the door (we're FB friends).
(Actually, feel stalked by Waterman, but not me.)

And I
just ate the last one.
I only gave away the women's shaving cream. Kept the rest. Ate all the snacks while I unpacked.

You can have my twizzlers, but we'll need to meet on the ground floor.
Does anyone need to go to Best Buy/Target in Columbia Heights? We could go together.

Gewirz seems cool so far, although the rooms are understandably a little sterile.
Does anyone want the Sunsilk/women's shaving cream?

There is a section 7 Happy Hour from 5-7 at the Billy Goat Tavern if anyone would like to join.

Thinking about going on the bus tour unless I never wake up from my nap...

I didn't think you had to sign up. But I'm not 100% sure. I'm failing as an events planner.
Where is Starrydecisus? She always has the answers.

I haz teh answerz!
Meet in, um, somewhere at 7:15 (either the Gewirz lobby or outside Gewirz, I forget which). Tour starts 7:30 and goes to 9. I don't believe you need to sign up but I don't know if it fills up or anything, so being downstairs by 7:15 is a good idea. I'm planning on it.
Ugh, why isn't Volsi living in Gewirz? My macbook keyboard isn't lighting up for some reason and the adapter is plugged in... I didn't change that setting. Never mind, now the lights are on again, mysteriously.

So on the orientation schedule are all the events that are listed as:
Information Table: Tours, Peer Advisors, Activities
the exact same? I guess what I'm asking is how much time should I be planning on spending at these things and should I go multiple times?

Those are just "open hours" for going up to various info tables and asking questions. They aren't events in and of themselves.

Ok, yeah the bus tour will meet up by the tent outside, or in that general area (by check-in) at around 7:15. Tour is 7:30 to 9.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
