Btw, Im currently in STL bored out of my mind. What are upcoming events in STL for a possible WUSTL law student meet-up?

Ahh...me too! So bored! I'm here early for Sonnenschein (starts Monday) but the last couple days have been torture.

In non-tech news, saw "Inception" on Wednesday. I have officially bought into the hype -- the movie was freakin' awesome. Anyone else?

totally agree. leonardo dicaprio is my favorite actor and he delivered again....i thought it was by far the best movie i've seen so far this year...

I'm getting about what i had expected(though i forgot the health insurance fee)

It's kind of funny seeing a negative account balance for more than the price of a car. I wonder how it works if the bill is due before loans drop?

i think it's possible for payments to be due before the loan money comes through....they already know how much loan money is expected so if that amount is greater than what's due, the due date and amount are dismissed. this is how things worked at unc.

i think it's possible for payments to be due before the loan money comes through....they already know how much loan money is expected so if that amount is greater than what's due, the due date and amount are dismissed. this is how things worked at unc.

they subtract out the expected loan amount. So it doesn't matter when the due date is because the amount of money you owe is not going to change.

I set mine up on my Blackberry. You have to use the email address listed in webstac under "sends to" it should be your WUSTLkey@go.wustl.edu

Thanks! I was struggling with it all yesterday. That's weird that you have to have "go.wustl.edu" but then again I'm not very tech savvy.

I've recently combated the pre-Sonnenschein boredom by heading down to the Arch and the museum underneath it which I did not know existed. But definitely worth going down to see and I'm not even really into museums like that.

I don't think we got an email with this specific info but I assume the program is at the law firm - located downtown at 211 N Broadway STE 3000. I asked a friend who did it last year about dress code and he said business casual. He wore slacks and a polo; by the second week people were wearing jeans but not really the first week.

Looking forward to meeting you!

PS: I'll probably be at the law library tomorrow to finish briefing.

Just got home from a little weekend getaway in STL. Went to the casino, Six Flags, a Cardinals game, Charlie Gitto's (best Italian I've ever had, but expensive if you go the one on The Hill), and hung out down on the Landing. Lot's of fun, and I loved my apartment. Can't wait to move down there. I'll be there for good two weeks from today!

Yep, it is about 20 minutes outside of St. Louis. It is pretty good... The Boss and Mr. Freeze are pretty awesome coasters.

And I wish I had seen your post Saturday about being bored in STL before tonight. I tried to get a few people together for a drink this weekend but didn't get any bites.

Yesterday was my second trip to SFoMA. Credited.

I'd have been up for this weekend but family = duty calls As a result I've got to do all of my Sonnenschein reading and briefing tomorrow before 5. Nice to know nothing changed in the 3 months since graduation.

6 Flags is fun. I've only been to Great America outside Chicago and Magic Mountain out here in LA. Those new coasters where you lay down, flying coaster, i believe is the term. Those are sick. Especially when you do the inverted loop. Nothing feels like it. Though i do love me a good wooden coaster, like American Eagle at Magic Mountain or Mean Streak at Cedar Point.

Oh man, I can't do those laying down flying coasters! Very cool indeed, but they freak me out a little bit. I'm a huge fan of the wooden coasters. Six Flags St. Louis just got this new one called the Evel Knievel Coaster and it may be my new favorite ride! It is a lot shorter than the Screamin' Eagle or The Boss, but it was really fast and had some sharp banked turns.

I'd definitely be up for going again.
