I walk from Gold Coast (slightly farther north) everyday. It's no problem.hey123 wrote:You have to email each school to withdraw your apps..I'm planning on living in gold coast area with some friends from UG (hopefully they have an open room for me come summer). I'm not too familiar with the city but I remember the building was right next to sutton hotel and across from some higher end bars. Anyone know if this is within walking distance to campus or if other students live in this area? I heard streeterville was a popular place to love as well..
P.S thank you to all the splitters who were accepted..left some room for reverse splitters like me!

I'm assuming I'll get all loans.sparty11 wrote:Does anyone know what numbers you need to be competitive for scholarships/grants? I know that they say it's a case by case deal, but I was wondering if there was any sort of framework in terms of numbers. Also, do ED applicants traditionally get less, since the need to entice us to attend is lessened (or rendered nonexistant) due to our binding ED agreement...
Out of the T14, Northwestern tends to have the largest average award and also the fewest number of students receiving aid. Obviously those are connected. Can't remember where I saw that data, I confess.

My stats are on my profile.
Aside from my stats, I have 9yrs of civilian work, and 3yrs military.
BTW Does anyone have anymore info on their Admit Day, or Diverse Student Admit Day? I want to go to whichever is first.

Last year the diversity day was first. I don't remember the exact time though. Maybe Late Feb early March. Regular Admit day was the first weekend of April last year.

Congrats to all the admits!
Definitely come to DANL if you possibly can. In my admit day experience, NU has a very different fell to other schools.

Admitted today; I want to get on the ASW, but I don't know how. Do I have to call NU to get a login?

Your status checker should have information on it.mayosmith wrote:Admitted today; I want to get on the ASW, but I don't know how. Do I have to call NU to get a login?

ASW is April 9th and 10th. Not sure but the Admitted students login could be on the pdf acceptance letter. That's how I got it last year I think, but I called to get the new login.

I haven't. In the acceptance letter, dated Dec 22, it said I would be receiving one "next month." It's still next month but not for long. Very anxious to get it.hey123 wrote:Have any EDers gotten the admitted student binder in the mail yet? or any form of communication from them? Anyone join the official NU Law Class of 13 facebook group? It says on there that they will have current students answering questions, and a place for admitted students to discuss the school.

Hi! I'm thrilled to have been admitted last Friday. NU's a top choice for me. Do any 1/22 admits have info on the admitted students webpage yet? Has anyone asked when that info will be made available to us? Thanks!
