Congrats to those who have decided to go to the best law school in the world.

That said... it's still law school which BLOWS.

hmmmmmmm. Thankfully I won't be reading contracts for another year, if I decide to pick up the e&es.

hmmmmmmm. Thankfully I won't be reading contracts for another year, if I decide to pick up the e&es.

Somehow even reading contracts seems like a lot more fun than sitting at my job for almost an entire year... waiting...

Hey now,... at this point last year the UVA 2012 page had all of ZERO posts. We're still in the lead!

Quick question for UVA ED'ers, didn't think this warranted it's own topic:

Since there's no prompt for a "Why UVA" essay, did you address your desires to attend UVA somewhere in your PS or anywhere else? I ask because I have my completed PS trimmed and edited to fit neatly into two pages, and I don't want to take away from it by forcing in a paragraph discussing UVA. I realize ED'ing makes it clear UVA is your dream school but did you address this at all in your applications?

I didn't mention UVA at all in my PS (nor did I submit a Why UVA addendum), EDed (last cycle), and got in with a less-then-shiny LSAT. If your PS is solid as-is, EDing is going to indicate that UVA is your #1 choice.

Yeah I did not do an "Why UVA" or put it in my ps, I think EDIng is the strongest signal you want to be there

TITCR. My ps mentioned some reasons I wanted to go to UVA, but only because it happened to fit in very well to the topic. There is no way to say "I want to go to UVA" louder than signing that form.

Hey everyone, You can add me to the confirmed list of people going to UVA next Fall. I'm actually psyched to get to go to UVA and am already counting down the days. I look forward to meeting everyone either at ASD or in the weeks leading up to orientation. Until then, hopefully we’ll all get to know each other a little. Charlottesville seems like a great atmosphere and I’ll second CE2JD’s comment that UVA is the best law school in the world. I mean where else are you going to get electives in the first year of law school and section softball games.

BTW in case anyone is interested they have already created a facebook group for UVA Law Class of 2013 so if you're definitely coming come join so we all can start putting faces to usernames.

Good luck to everyone out there going through the application and decision-waiting process.
