Don't worry, Bighead, I'm from the area and haven't received my packet either. I'm guessing that the postal service was running a little slow due to the holidays.

Plenty! The Ice Cube has adult leagues, as does another rink a bit out of the city. I play too, but I'm not good enough to play in a league anymore.bighead715 wrote:i have an important question - it is vital to my next 3 years in Ann Arbor

I think a lot of us received deferred admission instead of requesting it. As far as needing a deferral for health reasons, I feel pretty confidently that Michigan would grant you that deferral. The admissions office there is awesome, I can't see them not being understanding of a situation like that.tylt13 wrote:Hey everyone! I just got accepted for Fall 2010 a couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately, I have had some health issues arise that are making me think about trying to defer for a year. I see that many of you have deferred from a year ago. Was it fairly easy to get the deferral? When did you apply for it? Did you send in a deposit first?

I agree...it's definitely worthwhile to ask Michigan if they could grant you that deferral. I would hold off on submitting the deposit for now, and contact them first to see what they can tell you about it.blue16 wrote:I think a lot of us received deferred admission instead of requesting it. Have you sent in your deposit? Although I'm not sure what the exact chronology of the process is, I believe that you need to do that before you can set up your school account.z*z wrote:Does anyone know if they have given us a Umich email yet. Can it be found on the admitted students site?
