that is blasphemy. excommunication!
haha come on, PD is really just an improved sequel to Goldeneye more than anything...same developers, same controller layout, same levels, etc. It is madden '11 to madden '08, if you will.

I will have to bring down the box with all the games and controllers (4 nintendo ones as well). That sucks that you lost it all, I would be so sad lol. You guys may have me in goldeneye, but I will hold my own in mario kart and smash brothers. Hell, I might as well bring the whole bin with NES and 50-60 games too.

Nice, do it deebs. Let's game it up.

Also, you gonna be in Lexington anytime soon?

I should be - going to StL this weekend to look for places. I will probably have to go back down again next weekend so I will probably stop there along the way.

Just bought a PS3 in June. My summer has been predictably unproductive.

From my experience in grad school, into which I poured about 60+ hrs/wk, doing some regular gaming w/ friends (along with a lot of alcoholic beverages) is a necessary part of staying sane. So don't pawn off your systems yet.

Sorry to break up the nelly/xbox talk, but is legal writing graded at washu?

Anyway, I'm a big hockey fan, I can't wait for NHL 11 to come out in September, right when i should be working on memos...

I have all 3 systems(wii, xbox, ps3) so if people want to swap/borrow games give me a holler.

legal writing (called legal practice) is a 2 credit class for which you receive a grade. Legal Research is a 1 credit class for both semesters, for which you also receive a grade.

I am a rising 2L at Wash U and I have a one bedroom apartment in the CWE. I live in a really nice building right next to Forest Park with a lot of other law students. Unfortunately I have to break my lease and am looking for someone to take over and/or start a new year long lease. PM for details if you are interested.

Really starting to feel like us law school non-gamers are second class citizens ITT....Lol I was a wee bit non-nerdy when I wrote that so sorry for the harshness, but in all reality, you gamers really need to take this game/system rating thing outside the main thread. I really don't want to be a debby downer, but it doesn't make us non-gamers feel the greatest when you talk about us like we're not here.

haha im just playin robin, hope its cool

As this is my very first post, I thought I would use it to say hello to my future classmates. I'm driving out to St. Louis in about to two weeks to get my apartment settled and enjoy the city before the deluge of work begins. Is there anything going on before orientation starts? I'm looking forward to meeting everybody!

Cardinals game on August 17th. The game is at 7:00 and the ticket will cost $20. 21 of us WUSTL 2013 peeps are going so far, and I have 4 tickets remaining. PM me if interested.

Hey maybe you all will have an opinion on this. I'm looking at used cars for school (specifically I want a used Prius):

Basically this is my first car purchase, so it's hard for me to gauge my "gut feeling" about things since i don't have a ton of experience.

I basically need to buy my car before the end of the month, since I'll be moving around August 12th (because you get better deals at month-end). That being said, I really only have about 7 days to find the right one. I've found one dealership that consistently has better pricing than others (that's where I'm going today).

The thing I'm struggling with is knowing what number should make me say "deal". Their pricing is already better than other dealers, so I'm already happy about that. Then that makes me feel like if I can pay 1k under sticker (including all taxes and fees) then I'll be happy... but maybe that's because I'm naive. I have 16k to spend. The most expensive car I'm looking at is 15k, and I'm hoping to get it for 13k-14k (bottom line after all taxes and fees). Does that sound sane?

Here's a couple I was looking at:
