I think I'm the only person who granted the 12b6. This could be interesting.

How does one get to Ithaca via plane? Where do I fly into? Is there a bus?

Re: Serving Time in Ithaca (Cornell 2013)
There is an Ithaca airport that's generally one of the more expensive airports in the area. I think they only have flights in from three places, Detroit, Philly and Newark. I've flown in from Mississippi and Kentucky, and both times connected through Detroit. There are also airports nearby in Elmira, Binghamton, Rochester, and Syracuse, but then I suppose you'd have to get a really expensive taxi or a bus or something, or have someone pick you up. Check Kayak.com for the cheapest airfare. Click the "include nearby airports" option and you can compare all the ones in the region and decide which is cheapest.s0ph1e2007 wrote:How does one get to Ithaca via plane? Where do I fly into? As for buses, I have no idea. I'm sure there are. Wouldn't know where to look though.

I didn't want to post the wrong date yesterday, so I double checked on scoops this morning. Grades should post Jan 10. Last year, they posted the Friday before.AS1987 wrote:Anybody know when grades r released ?
So no worrying about grades until after the first week of the new year. Deal?

Well that's good, every time I go to that website it will remind me that I owe them 25,000 dollars, that should discourage me from checking grades.

Re: Serving Time in Ithaca (Cornell 2013)
Harumph... somehow I recall pre-registering for, like, 22 credits, but I'm only on there for 14.
Probably because I blew off getting letters and resumes out for clinic applications and just dropped them.
EDIT: Ah, wait, I'm waitlisted for a bunch. Was waitlisting random? Cause I seem to recall them saying classes weren't first-come-first-serve. Or is it that all 2Ls get waitlisted while 3Ls get preference?

Re: Serving Time in Ithaca (Cornell 2013)
Some of the "recommended" classes are limited enrollment (Biz Orgs, Admin). Why, I have no idea. I was WL for Biz Orgs but plan on taking that in the Spring anyway, so it's not a huge deal.vexion wrote:EDIT: Ah, wait, I'm waitlisted for a bunch. Was waitlisting random? It's funny seeing exact waitlist position.
I signed up for a 2-credit skills class, and I'm 26th/27 in line. Guess I shouldn't hold my breath.

Re: Serving Time in Ithaca (Cornell 2013)
Situation happened where I am looking for housing last-minute. I am a 2L transfer to Cornell, so I'm not familiar with the area. Got screwed on an a apartment which I thought I had set, and now looking for housing last-minute. Looking to share an apartment or house with 2-3 other students, somewhere in Collegetown area, within walking distance of the law school.
I know its late, but if anyone still looking for a house-mate, let me know!

I do not have or know of one, but I would also try grad housing over at maple woodBH_DOS wrote:Situation happened where I am looking for housing last-minute. That sucks. I can't believe I'm suggesting this, but try spamming the listserv. You might have more luck that way. Good luck!BH_DOS wrote:Situation happened where I am looking for housing last-minute. I am a 2L transfer to Cornell, so I'm not familiar with the area.
