Sorry, what I meant was: Do we need our IDs to get into the library before classes actually start for some reason?

I've been in there without an ID.

I need to brave Wegman's today. (I didn't even think about all the undergrads coming back, argh.) Anyone who is carless and wants to make a trip (I have an SUV) PM me, asap.

I think a pad of paper should be fine.AS1987 wrote:Does anybody think we need to bring our notebooks or laptops to orientation tomorrow ?
Don't forget about the reading assigned by the academic support people (it is up on blackboard).

Ok, so I'm thinking we should do the fantasy draft at around 1 this Saturday. How does that work for everyone?

oh, wow. I TOTALLY misread that assignment and assumed that "lawyering text" meant it was for our lawyering class. Thanks for the reminder!CyLaw wrote: Don't forget about the reading assigned by the academic support people (it is up on blackboard).

Re: Serving Time in Ithaca (Cornell 2013)
tbh, it's just a few pages on the basics of writing a case brief. What sort of stuff you should include in a good brief, and an example of one. I can't imagine there will be a quiz. And it's something you could Google.jks289 wrote:Agh, I don't have this book yet! Anyone in section A or E willing to let me look at their Legal Writing handbook tomorrow morning?

Re: Serving Time in Ithaca (Cornell 2013)
The "assignment" specifically says "if possible." My guess is it's just to give us the background for their discussion on briefing-nothing to worry over, and something I'm sure a lot of people won't even realize we had to do...vexion wrote:tbh, it's just a few pages on the basics of writing a case brief. I think Teagle Hall and Noyes Fitness Center are the closest. I'm planning on using Teagle, but they have weird hours this week.acdisagod wrote:Hughes people, what gym are you guys planning on going to/what is closest?

Teagle is the way to go. Noyes is super packed and is mostly for cardio. Teagle still isn't great for a university gym, but it's got almost everything you would need.CyLaw wrote:I think Teagle Hall and Noyes Fitness Center are the closest. Most of those questions were horrific to sit through. I was starving by the end. Btw, this is officially the first time I've used TLS to put off doing law school work! Cheers to the first of many.calicocat wrote:NeXP wrote:Gunners show themselves during orientation lectures. Amazing.![]()
