haha...first of many...I envision future pictures of wustler's plastered throughout facebook in funny halloween costumes doing the captain morgan stance (that will all be deleted/untagged in time for OCI, of course).

How are you guys furnishing your places? The only places I can find in CWE are unfurnished and expensive for the area (i think?).

I have a bunch of stuff from previous apartments (including an orange leather bean bag chair that was one of my parents wedding gifts) but Craigslist is amazing for cheap furniture!

i can't login with webstac for some reason.

they gave me a password and asked me to use my social security number for login the first time. I did it both with and without dashes too.

just click on "forgot login id" to get exactly what you need to input emailed to you.

This happened to me too. It's actually your student ID number and not your social security number.

is it too late to register for seminars. I saw in a document that the deadline was in april, but i was just accepted off the waitlist last week. Does that mean it's just too late for me?

You're a 1L. On top of your 1L curriculum you are not going to have time to take a seminar.

So I have a local bank here in Texas and I need to switch banks for obvious reasons when I move to St. Louis, does anyone have any suggestions? Or banks to stay away from? Any input would be great! Thanks guys!

in nc i use our state credit union, otherwise i use Bank of america. everywhere i've traveled to or lived outside of nc seems to have a BofA.

Yeah I think all of the ATMs inside the school are Bank of America ATMs

Thanks guys, I think I'm going to try and stay away from BoA though since my sister has had such bad experiences with them. I might just go with an online bank.

edit: Unless anyone else as a suggestion other than Bank of America.

wachovia/wells fargo....i prefer BofA to wachovia but i have friends who like banking with them.

wachovia and wells fargo are both bad choices. but i'm not allowed to divulge insider information.

i've been a BoA customer for about 10 years (have not had experience on the other side like w/ the other two) and they have always done right by me. Any problems and they have a banking center right on campus where you can sit down and talk to someone.

With the history of internet banking (banks that are online only), i'd honestly stay away from it. I'm not joking when I say an online bank can literally just be a few guys running something out of their basement. I've seen people at my former employer create their own online bank from nothing.

Your call though. It's your money. Or rather, it'll be the government's money since you'll be likely keeping loan funds in the bank account
