It was tied for 61st now it's tied for 67th, who cares? Outside the top 15 or so the rankings mean jack anyways.
Nova is still above Temple and Penn St if it matters to you, not like the handful of spots between them matter in the least anyways

True and they only dropped one point in their score, it wasn't really that big of a drop in reality

Yeah I agree it doesn't matter, but it's odd they dropped when this is the first year their new building has been included in the rankings.

Nova and Temple still run the Philly market regardless of rank, also, 5 way tie for 67th; are you serious USN?
Also, seat deposit sent in

the fact that we don't have a dean, only an acting dean, could be a reason... we should have one by next sem. though

5 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms PLUS a powder room?! I've always wanted my very own powder room.

Are you guys new to this. 2 years ago Nova was lower than they are now and they were behind Temple.
And there are always ties. I'm pretty sure the differences in the points scores aren't that big at this point.

keep in mind that the scoring system changed a little bit. part time scores are not calculated anymore, so this with part time programs probably got a boost. i believe there are a few other changes, too. besides, the effect of the new building wont reflect in the rankings until next year, because this time last year the building wasn't open for tours. so it probably had a negligible effect in attracting more students.

Sent deposit to Nova. Anyone find some decent apartments in the immediate area? I went for a visit and stopped at a complex in Bryn Mawr. It was not very nice.

If anyone else is interested in checking out a few apartment complexes, Onion and I are possibly meeting up next Sunday to look around at some places. It'll be a great way to meet some of us incoming 1Ls before August, and possibly find roommates if you're interested in finding some to save costs (or if the prospect of living alone sounds... too lonely).
Feel free to PM me if anyone else is interested, the more the merrier

Part-time isn't included now? Didn't they just add that for the first time last year?

I was being sarcastic. Although that is a sweet bachelor pad.

You should stay at the Radnor Hotel.
But seriously, just Priceline or Hotwire it, and try to get something around KOP, Conshi, or Norristown ... or you could try to get the Sheraton Great Valley (or something near there) and just drive up the Main Line.

No need to stay all the way up in Horsham

Does anyone know when we can expect to get our Villanova email addresses? I know it's still kind of early now, but I think it really starts to become real when you have a campus email address.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
