I agree to a point- itll be nice to be done on Mondays at 11, though starting at 9 on Thursday and not ending until 3:30...(cue the 5-hour energy guy walking around the ConLaw room)

My general plan is to be on campus from 9-5 everyday. Wednesday and Thursday are heavy loads, but I think with one lunch break and one study period and coffee it will be fine. I hear Dorf is awesome, but I don't know about the rest of our professors. Anyone know a good source (besides the 1L thread) for professor reviews?

Heise, Hillman, and Rossi have a handful of reviews between them on ratemyprofessors. Heise shines. Hillman's reviews are good, but some seem to stem from some undergrad course he teaches. Rossi has one review that attests to his legendary knowledge. Dorf and Whelan are absent.

A and F pretty much practice the buddy system for classes.

Yeah this is my plan too. Though I'll probably use the extra hour in the morning to exercise.

Does everyone's Hughes (yes, I'm living there) letter say that move in starts at 9am on Saturday, August 21? Saturday is the 20th... so, am I going with Saturday or the 21st?

Edit: And just for clarification, the health insurance is opt-out, right? If I do nothing, I am signed up for Cornell SHIP, correct?

... Saturday is the 21st.

August 21st, 2010 is a saturday.

And yes, the health insurance is opt out (with limitations on how you can opt out), so if you do nothing you are enrolled in SHIP.

Who knows anything about sending stuff ahead to Hughes?

When I spoke with housing, they asked me not to send packages more than 2 days before arrival, as they do not have much storage room. Send to:

Thanks! I just emailed the housing advisor and she said we can send stuff starting august 10th.

Does this mean ship on Aug 10 to arrive at a later date or packages may arrive on Aug 10?
