anyone been able to change the password for their email account?

Yeah, I was. The link was bad. Here is the correct one:

For e-mail and website:

https://www.law.georgetown.edu/system/l ... ssword.cfm

For myaccess:

https://netid-mgmt.georgetown.edu/passwd/

They recommend doing them both the same. Same login different passwords would be odd. It is annoying to make one though. Lots of rules.

wondering if any one who's especially savvy with email clients can help me out.

i just made an account on my Apple Mail email client. i listed the account as IMAP (it's what i like for my gmail) and used "mail.law.georgetown.edu" for the incoming and outgoing servers. everything seems to be working fine (sending and receiving), but should i have made an Exchange 2007 or Exchange IMAP account instead of an IMAP account?

There's a guide for configuring Entourage (which I hate) to work with the Georgetown Mail. (http://www.law.georgetown.edu/ist/outlo ... rApple.htm) I am currently struggling with how to translate that to Apple Mail as an exchange account. Once I figure it out, I will post it. If I can't figure it out, I will just use IMAP.

Nope, I think via mail.

But log in to My Access, click on Personal Information, then click on Biographical Information, then it is University ID.

Wouldn't it be difficult to log into MyAccess if you don't know your NetID password?

Edit: Okay. It's all good. I must have gotten routed somehow between all the links to the wrong page that didn't accept the whole A + numbers password.

all i can say is that FIRST, I was in the one that was to CHANGE to the password and it wasn't accepted ANYTHING as my current password. Then I unsuccessfully tried to log in twice on the page that just asked for username, password. Because I got confused and was thinking that's where we use the one that begins with gu. But after re-reading the email, I realized that was the one where we use the capital A, followed by those 6 numbers. And it worked.

Meanwhile, why is this medical process so difficult?!? I faxed a release of information form to my undergrad clinic to send to the place where I had my varicella immunity test done. Since then, I've called them to verify that they sent it. They've variously told me:

- No, we didn't get your fax. We get a lot of blank pages here.
- I see this form you faxed us, but we don't keep record of when we mail medical records out. But since they send them out daily I'm assuming we sent it out when we got the fax.
- Wait, I looked it up. We put your records in the mail on Thursday the 10th.

Comment 1 was from one person, while 2 and 3 were from a second person.

So now it's been difficult to call my new clinic (temporary clinic up here) to find out if they've received it. I called on Saturday and they told me to call back on a business day so I could speak with the medical records department. I tried calling that department around 4:15 this afternoon and had to leave a voicemail. So I still don't have a form to send to GULC.

That sounds really frustrating!!

I'm still wimping out over getting my tetanus shot =( Can't take off work to go to my dr. so going to go to a walk-in...any one of these days, I'll muster up the courage....

So I don't need to get immunized, since I am 26 next week, but I don't want to send them the form until I'm actually 26 so there's no confusion. Does this sound right? My doctor filled it out in May.
