Anyone else still waiting on a financial aid award?

I didn't get mine until I called, got my GW id and confirmation that I had a package, then emailed that info to Dean Richard.

really sad I missed the Preview Day...was off at Emory looking there

GW is a much stronger consideration for me now than it was before...I really want to come back to DC after graduation and obviously GW is a great place to do that!!

also - really happy that the 2011 rankings leak brought GW back up to the spot it had 2 years ago

Just wanted to add that I called the fin aid office, got my GW id and found all the info online. Was told that package is coming some time this week...probably not but at least i was able to log in and check.

And we're back to 20 guys!

What changed from last year to explain the increase?

From what I have gathered it is more a return to 20 than an increase from 28. Some people say GW fell to 28 because of the size of the PT program. Others have said that evidence points to placement statistics. I do not know for sure. All I can say is that it seems GW has been a little more selective this cycle. Also, I believe the PT program has been cut to a smaller number of admits. Either way, I am excited about the change and looking forward to August.

GW only dropped because part-time numbers were added for the first time. (But don't forget that GW has the #2 part time program in the country!). They cut the program into a third, and the school bounced right back up to where it's supposed to be.

Can't wait to see it at #18 next year!!!!!!!!!!

HAHAHA! if it gets too stressful I'd consider making the metro ride to rub Testudo's nose...never underestimate that statue!

I'm still not completely set on GW but I really enjoyed my visit and everything I heard about the school...plus all the wonderful things DC has to offer!

Does anyone know where to find housing that is affordable, but maybe on the same metro line as GWU or do I just have to accept that I'm gonna be paying some absurd price for rent?
