Do you guys already have your georgetown email? How did you find out what it was and how to access it?

No one has it yet. But it is the same as your myaccess login. So your initials then a number @law.georgetown.edu

It is now under your e-mail addresses on myaccess, but you still can't use it. Or at least I don't know how to. I tried logging in and it doesn't work.

when i emailed them asking about this, i got a reply saying that they were scheduled to go out on May 21st. I got this reply on May 14th

I see all the Taylor Swift and Jay-Z love in here. Now, let me ask this - anyone else a fan of alternative bluegrass?

I don't know about alternative bluegrass, but I like some alt-country. Stuff like Lucero, Rocky Votolato, The Everybodyfields, The Dutchess and the Duke, The Avett Brothers...do you know any of them? The Avett Brothers might be close to bluegrass, but I don't really know what I'm talking about. They have a banjo and an upright bass though.

I'm also into a lot of punk and indie, so I'm hoping to catch a bunch of good shows at the Black Cat.

I like alt-country too. I'll have to check some out the bands you mentioned. The Avett Bros are great. Other Alt Bluegrass I like includes Nickel Creek, Crooked Still, Sarah Jarosz,Wailing Jennys, the Boston Boys. Also some folkier stuff like The Be Good Tanyas and grassier stuff like the Steeldrivers. Do you like psychobilly? I used to go to a lot of psychobilly shows and would be happy to do so again.

If so, then a big yes.

Absolutely! Do you know Mountain Heart? I saw them live last year and they're amazing. And yes, absolutely no Nickelback .

Um. yeah. Have I mentioned that the last time I moved into a dorm it was 1998? Most of the people here were probably still in grade school! I definitely did not plan for this when I bought my first home! Ah well...it's 9 months, right? Like really, really intense and extended summer camp. I still just think the convenience cannot be beat...and, well, there's the gym...

4th grade! And the convenience really is so big for me. I've commuted an hour and a half each way for three years now, and it just sucks. It'll be nice to be two seconds away.

Probably at Mass Court. My 1L--->2L friend went to a pool party there about a month ago.

That, or getting drinks from the Courtside Cafe after 5PM (I looked it up. It seriously becomes a beer/wine bar after 5PM) and then going swimming in the adjacent pool?

I've got my bikini ready.
Sigh, I was going to go to Mexico this summer before I started school. All inclusive, swimup bar, the whole deal. But I couldn't convince a single friend to shell out for it. Bad economy and all. I can totally make up for it with all these convenient pool possibilities. With alcohol!

My bad, I don't like being woken up by anything. I like waking up when I am ready. We'll see how often I can do that with my schedule up there.

There's nothing better than waking up naturally! Your biorhythms know when you will feel your best...otherwise your body is going to be all jacked up on time issues. It wants to be up when the sun is out and it wants to go to sleep when it's dark out, so when you play around with that, you're going to mess up your inner-clock and be tired. Unless of course you are nocturnal. ; )
