Who wants to join me in bombarding UVa trolls with PMs about this?

I'd rather be more subtle about it and just troll any thread with Duke or Virginia in the title with this information.los blancos wrote:paralegal wrote:Duke gained a significant increase in Leiter's rankings - in 2009 Duke ranked "13"

I'm a summer starter (section 1). And I do know who you are (though I think I'll fail miserably at pronouncing your last name correctly)! Mwhahahaha...prezidentv8 wrote:Yo ObvMaso, what section were you in? And do you know me?

"Official transcripts of all undergraduate and graduate work must be on file prior to your arrival at Duke in order to meet the requirements of the American Bar Association. Transcripts submitted to LSAC are not sufficient for this purpose. Your undergraduate transcript must indicate that you earned a bachelor's degree."los blancos wrote:Do we have to send final transcripts through LSAC? Or do they just want a final transcript to their office to make sure we graduated?

I had a 13-inch and then went with the 15. I really like the bigger screen. Next year, however, I'm going to be doing a fair amount of traveling (prolly fly home for 3 weekends/semester if I can and a 15-inch laptop is really annoying for in-flight use), and it may spend a lot more time hooked up to a TV/external monitor. I also used to reboot into windows and play games, which I have totally stopped doing ever since I got a PS3. So now I also don't need the extra GPU. Dunno, I guess what I do will depend on part on how much I can get for it, but I'm leaning towards sticking with it.DallasCowboy wrote:ronaldo: i got the 13 inch. Seems huge compared to my current netbook. Perfect size.
Wow that is an absolute no-brainer.Jericwithers wrote:but a quick call to Geico landed me liability plus $20k property insurance for $66 a year.

Unless you want the aluminum body, it's probably the right decision. You can get a refurb for like $750 at the Apple store.thickfreakness wrote:I think I'm going to get a 13-inch MacBook. I had a Dell laptop in college that actually ran quite well with XP Pro on it, but the screen died about 6 months ago. I've looked at the Pros but there don't seem to be many extra benefits for a 13-inch Pro over the standard MacBook configuration.
Aluminum body is nice, but the glass screen is fragile. Guess I might be the only one with a big ole clunky 15'' macbook pro lol.los blancos wrote:Unless you want the aluminum body, it's probably the right decision.
