Re: Fordham Class of 2013/2014
Section 2 (Torts, Property, Criminal Law, and LRW)
I went to the Registrar's site (http://law.fordham.edu/registrar/17626.htm) and matched up the classes on my.fordham.edu to the schedule there to get a sense of the times. These times might change, so I wouldn't take them as 100 percent certain. Also, the Registrar link has the professors and classrooms listed.

yay i'm glad this worked for all of us! if my classes are followed by "001" (except for property which says "004"), does it mean i'm in section 1? i feel dumb.

Re: Fordham Class of 2013/2014
I think the section # is the number right after the name of the LR&W course--for example, mine says "LEGAL WRITING/RESRCH 3". The rest of the classes have "3" for me also, i.e. "CRIMINAL LAW 3 & 4", "CONTRACTS 3 & 4", and "PROPERTY 3".hannah87 wrote:yay i'm glad this worked for all of us! if my classes are followed by "001" (except for property which says "004"), does it mean i'm in section 1? i feel dumb.

Re: Fordham Class of 2013/2014
double ditto, section 6 tho, and I'm game for a happy hour before orientation. Jake's Dilemma is a decent bar not too far from Fordham, and that Lansky's place looks awesome, good tip there.starsong wrote:ditto. section 3 though, same three classes (contracts, criminal, property).empire84 wrote:same. section 5 here. classes: contracts, criminal, and property.hannah87 wrote:i just logged into my.fordham.edu and clicked the Student tab, the the My Courses link and i see a list of 4 courses (no days/times)...anyone else have this?
Edit: To add I'm in Judge Chin's Legal Writing class also, pretty pumped.

T = Tuesday
W = Wednesday
R = Thursday
F = Friday
So "TR" is Tuesday, Thursday at the specified times, WR is Wednesday, Thursday, etc. Good question though--it was not at all clear to me either.

Just found my way back to this forum after a while and noticed this discussion. I would be interested in a happy hour or something, and I will be moved into Astoria August 16th so any day after that is likely to be good for me.eightdaysaweek wrote:Is there any day that does or doesn't work for most people..jk11287 wrote:I live in Hells Kitchen and know a lot of great places for happy hour around here...
I'm starting to freak out...please tell me I'm not the only one.
And ya id say I'm a little nervous about this all starting so soon too.
Oh and I am in section 4.

This is exciting! I'm thrilled that they gave night students a super easy Monday schedule, so we basically get 4 days to study and 3 days to vegetate in class. Very cool.

Congrats on getting sections! You guys are going to be in for so much fun. We start OCI in a couple of works, and some of the journals have already had orientation. I can't wait to be back at school (and in the US), and I'll probably meet some of you.

How is everybody figuring out their sections? Is it the numbers right after the subject, for example mine says Legal Writing/Research 7 does that mean im in section 7?

Happy hour some time during the week of August 16?
