So it's probably not a big deal, but I'm wondering what day is considered the actual day that one has applied for subsidized and unsubsidized loans. Is it when I sent in my needaccess and yellow form or the day that I filled out my MPN?

I just listed the date I submitted the MPNs.

I also don't have a middle name, so mine will be the comical ok63. Apparently there have been 63 OKs before me, so I think you will likely get ti with some numbers attached.

Either way, if you're taking out all of the PLUS loan they offered and you wind up checking maximum, I'm sure the financial aid office will figure it out.

Yeah, their financial aid forms are lame. I just filled the form out as it directed. It told me to tell them how much I applied for and when I filled out the GradPLUS application I put "maximum" so on their form when it asks how much I put I would think putting anything but "maximum" would qualify me for that prison time they so courteously pointed out at the end of the blue form.

Had a bunch of deadlines and what we need to do.. Didn't talk about fin. aid at all though, he probably knows that is just a lot of work...

I also hate how the e-mails from the school mess up the content...

I got the email. I wonder if someone would not get Section 3 even if they really wanted it... that would suck.

Are you sure about this part? I just put maximum on all of the loans on the blue form. Obviously they already know what they said I qualify for for the GradPLUS loans since they are the ones that sent me the letter and I'm definitely going to be withdrawing all of it. I was under the impression that they want you to put in actual numbers if it is anything less than what they said you qualify for.

If you don't have any grants, I suppose you could put maximum, since your entire COA would be made up of loans. I got a grant offer, so my PLUS loan amount isn't as high as it would be otherwise.

Either way, if you're taking out all of the PLUS loan they offered and you wind up checking maximum, I'm sure the financial aid office will figure it out.

I emailed them and asked them about this and they said that if a student puts "maximum" on the blue form for the GradPLUS then they just award that student the full amount that was listed on their financial aid letter. Hope that helps someone.

Pretty sure I'll be going the traditional route, unless I discover some hidden advantage to taking curriculum B in the next couple of hours that outweighs the extra workload.

I started out being sure that i wanted to go the traditional route, but the more i look into B the more it seems like it would my cup of tea. the only problem is that im a terribly slow reader and that coupled with the added reading might spell the end of me. on the other hand i'm an econ/philo undergrad who's really interested in law &economics. i just makes so much more sense to take B.
