I just had a thought: Wouldn't all the sugar from the frosting in the cupcakes lead to early burnout during the exams? Like, you'd get a quick sugar rush, and then lose all your energy? So, is it possible to say that the cupcakes can be seen as a detriment to exam success?

Or, do we just say that cupcakes are, in all situations, awesome?

I'm inclined to pick the latter.

While we're on the topic of cupcakes you guys should def. check out Baked By Melissa. She started with a small window shop in SoHo and now has a shop right by Union Square. The cupcakes are bite-sized (like half-dollar sized) and are a buck each (cheaper the more you buy) but they are freaking delicious!

flipflops? that's SO much cooler. it seems like all the student groups give out free baked goods during exams so the loss of specific cupcakes would be minimal.

Im pretty sure Fordham has what is known as a "cupcake curve" in which students that have a cupcake or two before an exam are ranked separately from the rest of the class.

if you venture out to brooklyn, baked also has good cake.

yeah... I'm able to send emails from it (as in to my aol) but for some reason i can't receive emails...

you can access your email at my.fordham.edu ... log in... click on student mail on the top right.. or if you actually want to see your email address... log in... click on the student tab on the left... click on Student Accounts located under the My Account heading on the left... click the Personal Information tab... and then click View Email Address...

To those discussing cupcakes: I only got through finals week because Magnolia saw fit to come to 69th and Columbus. I mainlined them and Pellegrino like it was my job.

Last year's median 1L GPA (what the class of 2011 previously had) was 3.19. Ours was 3.21.

i asked someone at the asd and was told to email kathryn espiritu, because invitations went out 2 weeks ago. she was very helpful, and i got my invite yesterday. You have to confirm by july 15, so you still have sometime if you email her right away.

* Download and follow Instructions (PDF) on accessing my.fordham.edu.

* Find out your Fordham ID number, section assignment, and course schedule on my.fordham.edu.
* By August 22, 2010, finish reading Whose Monet?
* Begin Evening Division Orientation on Sunday, August 22, 2010, and follow Orientation schedule.

So we have to read Whose Monet? and another case from the State Supreme Court of Washington. Some of the PDFs could not be linked in here so you actually have to go to the site to check it out.

Thanks Chico for posting the update, I probably would not have noticed for awhile heh.

I look at some of the PDFs and noticed one odd thing, the questionnaire they link to appears to be from last year, either that or they gave the wrong year for the scheduled Family Day event. 'Course we know the website is still a work in progress so I don't think I'll fill that one out quite yet.

Guess it's time to make a trip to Barnes and Noble for that book.
