Being $180,000 in debt and unemployed isn't the end of the world if you love the law.

If you don't go to a T14, you will have trouble getting either of these. You will have trouble getting A job in general--even in Manhattan Shitlaw. If you go to a T14, there is a great chance that you will strike out in OCI.

People here are foolish to take advice from 1Ls. Take a year off before law school and learn what the real world is about. ITE, I have friends who graduated from T1 undergrads with 3.5s and can't even break into Best Buy.

Good luck.

Why would best buy want to hire a lawyer?
