ever received an offer in a letter?
i'm wondering if anyone here has ever received an offer in a letter but no corresponding phone call/email?

The answers to your post on autoadmit are correct, it's virtually unheard of.

A little birdie pointed me in the direction of this thread. My offer came via letter. It was a mistake but it happened. I got a phone call two days later. I actually liked it that way, gave me time to have questions and get over the initial "omg yay!" thing. So don't assume a letter is a bad thing...

I just received an offer via snail mail from a V100, so it does happen.

I also received my offer via letter... how long do I have to accept? Should I call back? I'm really not sure how to respond or what to do - advice would be greatly appreciated.
