they only hired 4 summer associates last year, and I believe they are cutting back everything like everyone else this year...if you haven't heard, maybe they have offered someone else and are waiting to see if they accept.

when you are dealing with tiny offices like that, you can't really expect timeliness unfortunately

also I am not sure, but I believe the layoffs 6 months ago hit the non-Palo Alto offices harder--not really sure how bigthe DC office is now after those cuts and the recent staff cuts

If this is your only firm option right now, I would definitely be looking at other opportunities aggressively.

Bu I wouldn't completely give up hope--just don't let the hope distract you from seeking other options
