Has anyone gotten any word one way or another from Fulbright, Baker Botts, or V&E?

A classmate received an offer from V&E Houston about two weeks after the CB interview.

I got a ding in the mail 4 days after my Fulbright callback. They must have really not liked me. I haven't heard anything from BB or VE.

Received a Vinson & Elkins offer pretty soon after (not sure on the exact timing right now, but less than 3 weeks).

Are you planning on splitting the summer between two firms? Which two are you leaning towards.

FJ offer, seriously? When did they get back to you on the callback? They sent me an email that said they were still working out callback offers & setting up the callback process or something along those lines.. I guess that's not the case for everyone. Kind of depressing for me.

Yes, but I'd rather not be any more specific than that. Best of luck to everyone.

V&E was 50-70%, depending on who you want to listen to on ATL.

BB was 50% I believe (no real source here).

F&J was about 50% (a friend who was there claims this, no other data to prove).

No idea on the rest.

wow, even with their huge summer class size, V&E still beat out BB/FJ in offer rates?

this doesn't seem right

An offer is only worth the paper it was printed on. We will have to see how many people ever start working at these places.

Anyone know what V&E's deferral policy has been for the '09 and '10 classes?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
