I got dinged from Sheppard Mullin - OC last week. Thought my callback went really well so was bummed. It took them over a month to get back to me with the rejection...when did you do your callback?

OP here: My callback was a few weeks ago. Just got the ding in the mail on Friday. Thought mine went really well too. I'll be interested to see how many SA's they hire. I really liked the office, so was pretty bummed about it.

yeah it will be interesting to see how many SA's they take...I think one of my interviewers said they were only taking 2 summers this year (they had 4 in 2009), and it seemed like they were doing quite a few callbacks. I was hoping my high GPA would help, but I guess they can afford to be ultra-selective in terms of "fit" this year.
