Nalp rules give you a certain amount of time to reply. I haven't heard of accepting on the spot for most biglaw firms.

I have heard this too, and I think firms will be very aggressive about recruiting early. That's why I'm wondering how much time is appropriate Between Offer and Acceptance: 1 week? 1.5 weeks?

Last year, I waited a few weeks, then went back to the 3 firms I was most interested in for 2nd visits (after I had offers in hand). I accepted one of the three offers one day after the 2nd visit trip.
