One C...Am I doomed?
So, I am about to enter OCI and am starting to get a little worried since I received a C in one of core classes. I had some family issues that partly explain the grade but mostly my other grades are either at median or just below an A. Will my one C automatically eliminate me from getting any callbacks. Btw, I got to a top 7 school and am mostly aiming for secondary markets. Please help

Be nice Cavalier -- I'd make sure they know it's an outlier but things happen and employers understand.

Re: One C...Am I doomed?
My experience so far about grades:
No one asked about them, and I debated bringing it up if only because I had one that was just not on par with the rest. I was told by someone who had done interviews that if it comes up, go ahead and answer it like you're ready to, but bringing it up on your own at the end of an otherwise good interview "is kind of like a turd just sitting in the room."
I dunno whether that helps or not.

Thanks for slapping some sense into me. I think all this talk about firms dropping out of oci and grade cutoffs freaked me out. I can't wait for this to be over. We'll see how it goes I guess...
