Since SEO offers such a great opportunity for incoming law students, aside from NYU and the Ivy, you would think other highly ranked schools (not in the T14) would find it beneficial to gladly step up and donate so they could be a significant participant in this endeavor.

Honestly, I love it the way it is. . . .just asking out of curiosity.

There has only been one noted TLS acceptance this cycle. I feel pretty safe in saying that many non-TLSers applied and as such we have no idea of how many offers have been made overall.

Has everybody already interviewed?

I applied about a month ago but never heard anything back. Today I happened to check my spam folder and found an invitation to interview. They still have a few slots open for interviews, but I'm wondering whether its too late - Do you actually have a chance interviewing this late? A related question: The two choices left for interviews are later this week and early april. I guess I'd prefer to do it in april to have more time to prepare and plan a trip to nyc, but would it hurt to postpone it that long?

I haven't. I also applied first round and I'm six for six in terms of t14's, including NYU and Columbia. NO idea what's going on.

what email address did the emails about interviews come from? I want to make sure it's on a "do not put in spam folder" list.

Check your spam. Also for rand or an alumni, if you were selected for one location could you change it to another one? For instance if you were excepted at DC could you change it too NYC because you had a Columbia acceptance and it would be easier for you?
No. Generally they ask you about preference up front and do their best to accomodate. Most were placed in their first choice location; some were not. I'm not sure how all of the added markets would express placement. You won't be able to change anything once you are accepted though. Whatever market you are placed in, you should consider it a victory.

When we let SEO know what school we're going to, can we send a copy of our enrollment form that we're mailing to our school, or do they need the confirmation letter the school sends to us confirming receipt of our seat deposit?

I am wondering this is as well -- what do we need to send to SEO? Also, can we just scan and email it or does it have to be sent via fax?

I think people took the warning a bit too seriously. Just don't be dumb about what you post is all I was trying to say.

I really would like to know if acceptances have been thrown out or not, so if you're one of the lucky ones please let us know!

I am getting to the point of obsessively checking my email for SEO updates like I did when I was waiting for LS acceptances, it's bad.

I dont know about acceptances but I can confirm that there is some kind of movement going on.

Such as . . . ?

Does anyone know [or have an estimate] on the lead-in time for relocating to our destination?

Can anyone speak on how they define "recent graduates"? How far removed from college can an applicant be?

i just checked my seo acct and their website again. doesnt seem that they specify. i'm guessing they just want someone who after 3 years of law school is still young enough to withstand the grind that is biglaw-associate-life.

your best bet would just be to call or email them.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
