dang...how so?
Just do exactly what they tell you to. Read up on the firms. Pick a couple you like and why you fit in there. Know what you want to do with your life and why you are doing. Successfully have a good interview and after that you did all you can. For me some parts had me a little nervous and I stumbled a little bit but came out of it. You'll do fine. Get enough sleep and know seo and what they do.
+1000. That's really it.

It is good exposure to corporate law. If you dont have interest in corporate law how will this benefit you exactly? Just wondering because they will want to know. If you have not worked in corporate america and have no interest and they cant see any they will inquire about this as I would or any other business would.

I have to agree, in my interview they specifically asked "Are you purusin a career in corporate law. Do you plan on staying more then a few years. What are your goals in said firm" Also it looks bad on them when people do the summer program never to contribute back to the firm that goes on a relatively large leap of faith on these candidates.

Hi all. I just received the SEO interview invite. But I am a little confused, do we need to have a letter of recommendation and official transcript? The email says to have it but a former poster said we did not for the corporate law program. Also, if you can't interview on the available days, if you wait, will other days become available? Is the interview only 30 minutes?

In regards to the interview, just prepare as you would for any corporate interview. Check out vault/consulting guides if you need an idea of what that means. Just because they're not warm and fuzzy with you doesn't mean they're trying to freak you out; mine was cold but extremely professional and straightforward.
This.

If you wait, other days will become available, yes. But there's no guarantee that they will become available on days you will be able to make them. You might have to rearrange your schedule.

They say it even on the website that this is when the program starts.

Q: If I am accepted to SEO when will my internship begin?
A: The SEO internship officially begins after the SEO Orientation, which is usually held over the Memorial Day weekend. Internships begin late May to Mid-June. Internships are usually eight to ten weeks in duration ending in July or August.

I know it says you need one recommendation, but do you all think that two is acceptable?

When are you due back? Memorial Day weekend starts on Saturday the 29th... so as long as you didn't plan your trip for too late in May, you should be OK.

I just received an email from SEO this afternoon, and I accidentally deleted the message on my iPhone before I had a chance to read it (and I tried but failed to retrieve this email either from gmail or my school's server). I also received an email for interview earlier today. I'm just wondering if any of the other applicants has received an email from SEO today in regards to the Corporate Law admission process, interview process, or anything else important? Thanks!!

It seems like the first email was incorrect. Did it say you've been invited for an interview after the phone screen? They sent a follow-up email which is corporate law specific.

Has anyone else had any problems getting the interview webinar video to work? Each time it opens the recording player but then it says that it fails to connect. Any suggestions? Is the video even helpful? Thanks.

I'm using the latest version of FF. The player opens up as its own application fine, it just doesn't load the video.
