Help picking a firm

Post by Anonymous User » Sun Sep 13, 2026 3:21 am

So I have two offers at different firms and I really need help picking one. I just graduated law school and finished interviewing last week.

Firm one: practice area is litigation and I don’t particularly want to be a litigator but I really like the people at the firm. Pay is decent and firm is overall good.

Firm 2: super interested in the practice area & firm is more sophisticated but I absolutely hate the people (and honestly the firm) already and feel miserable and the prospect of working with them. Pay is higher but I get bad vibes tbh

I guess my main dilemma is whether I should pick a firm based on the people or the practice area/firm prestige. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
