Deal sheet for lateral application?

Post by Anonymous User » Fri May 09, 2025 1:13 pm

When preparing a deal sheet for a lateral application, should you include all the deals you've worked on or just a handful of recent, representative matters that cast you in a good light? I found some examples online and it seemed like there wasn't a consensus approach. Also, to the extent people recommend the latter, does it make sense to include a "For additional transactions, see:" with a link to the experience tab of your page on the firm's site? First time lateraling and haven't prepared one before.

FWIW, I'm not using a recruiter - an old friend reached out to me about this position - so I don't have one to ask.
