I'm doing a federal clerkship after graduation. I'd love to do a pre-clerkship summer associate position (in DC if that matters).
How should I go about finding positions? Email firm recruiting departments?
It seems like it might be a pretty ad hoc thing. (E.g., an attorney who kindly rejected me during 2L OCI said I should look into doing a pre-clerkship SA with them down the line, but the firm didn't seem to have a set program). Any advice would be appreciated.
