Munger (LA) vs. Sidley (DC)
Choosing between the two for 2L summer. I'm interested in litigation with a focus on general commercial litigation, IP (have a stem background but no idea if I'll like IP), and appellate (currently have a COA clerkship lined up). In terms of location, I have ties to both DC and LA so just trying to find the best firm. I liked the people at both firms, and I feel like Munger is better for general litigation while Sidley has a better IP practice and a solid appellate practice (don't think I have the credentials to transfer to Munger DC lol). I'd greatly appreciate any insights/thoughts. Thanks!
