Sec Reg for Litigation?

Post by Anonymous User » Tue Jul 02, 2024 8:03 am

I've heard sec reg is useful for corporate folks. I'm a rising 3L doing white collar work/civil lit at a securities-heavy firm with hopes of eventually spinning off as an AUSA or SEC/CFTC trial lawyer. To what extent would sec reg be a useful class to take (even if just to understand the financial content of cases better)? Alternatively, are there other corporate law classes that would be more helpful?

Take it. It's useful for securities litigation.

Seems like an obvious choice if you're seriously interested in working at the SEC
