V20 lit partner help

Post by Anonymous User » Sat Jun 22, 2024 1:05 pm

I'm a 6th year at a v20 biglaw firm in lit (large group, not a corporate focused firm). People have always been overall positive, but I've never discussed partnership odds with any partners. What do partners look for? How can I set myself up to be in the running?

You should be advocating for yourself. Be proactive in telling mentors/partners you work closely with that you are interested in being a partner.
