Best appellate practices in SF/Bay Area?
There's obviously a ton of premiere appellate shops in DC (running the gamut of biglaw firms like GDC, W&C, Paul Weiss to boutique practices like Kellogg Hansen, Consovoy, Gupta Wessler). What about SF? Are there any BL or boutique firms that are especially desirable for appellate litigation? A few years ago, it seemed like a good number of SCOTUS clerks were going to Orrick. Curious why what that is and whether that still holds true.
