Can future employers (government & otherwise) access your character and fitness application to the Bar?

Post by Anonymous User » Wed May 22, 2024 1:00 pm

As stated in the title, I am wondering if future employers can access your character and fitness application to the bar—government or otherwise.

I plan to fully disclose everything to both the bar and any future employer (it isn't much), but the Bar's character fitness investigation process could turn up more than a typical government application. So, I am wondering if what gets disclosed on my character and fitness application will be something I have to explain in perpetuity.

Not that I’ve ever heard.

I actually think my federal background check was more extensive than my bar C&F.
